JAE’s elementary guidance counselors, Mrs. Beasley and Mrs. Jennings, are vital members of the related arts education team. They encourage all students in the areas of academic achievement and personal/social development to ensure today’s students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow. Mrs. Beasley and Mrs. Jennings collaborate with JAE administrators, teachers, parents and community members to promote student achievement.

Professional school counselors in Sumner County have a master’s degree or higher in school counseling, meet the state certification and licensure standards, and uphold ethical and professional standards of the American School Counseling Association.
