Jack Anderson Elementary

A Year of Curiosity and Exploration!

The mission of Kindergarten is to set the foundations for a lifelong love of learning and to make a positive difference in the lives of children. Kindergarten is a time for your child to grow academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the year. Our focus will be on the Kindergarten curriculum and more importantly learning to become independent thinkers and problem solvers. Our students are actively engaged through well planned literacy and math stations, giving them an opportunity to explore and feed their curiosity. Our opportunities are endless here at JAE, through time spent in our computer lab, STEM lab, outdoor classroom and fine arts program, allowing students to create, explore, invent and imagine.

We welcome a partnership with our parents that involves special projects at home and at school, volunteering with our Book Buddy program, joining and actively participating with the PTO, and/or becoming a Room Parent for the class. These are just a few of the ways parents can support our Kindergartners. Great things are happening in Kindergarten at JAE!

Jack Anderson Elementary is an institution focused on academic excellence as well as genuine concern for the well-being of children.

Students are engaged in authentic learning and growth opportunities which prepare them for the next level of success.  With a STEM focus, our students interact with purposeful dialogue as they problem-solve, create, and make improvements.  Every day, we encourage our students that it is with hard work and perseverance that our failures lead to success.
