Jack Anderson Elementary

Fifth Grade

A Year Of Leadership & Excellence!

At Jack Anderson, our fifth graders are the leaders of tomorrow. We offer several opportunities for them to excel: producing the morning announcements, working alongside our media specialist as library pages, keeping students in the car rider drop off line safe serving as safety patrol officers, participating in the Just Say No Club, and conserving our Earth by leading the Recycle Club. To help them meet the challenges ahead, we implement a meaningful plan of study through a rigorous curriculum. We emphasize a solid writing structure, integrating social studies and science topics. Reading skills, as well as math concepts, are sharpened to provide a strong foundation leading into middle school. Our main focal points of the last year of elementary school are organization, study skills, leadership skills, and time management. Our goal is to produce confident leaders with an excellent work ethic, while making long-lasting memories along the way.

Jack Anderson Elementary is an institution focused on academic excellence as well as genuine concern for the well-being of children.

Students are engaged in authentic learning and growth opportunities which prepare them for the next level of success.  With a STEM focus, our students interact with purposeful dialogue as they problem-solve, create, and make improvements.  Every day, we encourage our students that it is with hard work and perseverance that our failures lead to success.
