Located in the heart of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Jack Anderson Elementary (JAE) is a top-performing K–5 school proudly serving over 800 students as part of Sumner County Schools. We are committed to cultivating a vibrant, inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Jack Anderson, we prioritize high expectations and strong outcomes. Our students consistently perform above the state average in both reading and math, and our commitment to small class sizes ensures meaningful connections between students and teachers.

Designated as a Tennessee STEM School, JAE is proud to be at the forefront of 21st-century learning. Our hands-on, project-based STEM program empowers students to think critically, solve real-world problems, and collaborate creatively. Whether it’s designing prototypes in our STEM Lab or presenting solutions to real challenges, JAE students are engaged and inspired daily.

Strong community partnerships and an active PTO help bring our mission to life. From family nights to service projects, we work hand-in-hand with families and neighbors to ensure all students thrive.

Led by Principal Tressa Sanders, our staff is passionate about building a school culture rooted in respect, integrity, and innovation. We believe learning should be engaging and student-centered, with opportunities for leadership at every level.
