AWESOME ACCELERATED READERS!!!!

Accelerated Reader:  Your child should be taking 2 A.R. test each week.  This will help them meet their 6 weeks goal.  Please encourage and ask your child frequently how many test they have taken.  Encouragement is the KEY!!!!!!

Congratulations to those of you who met your points and percentage goals for the six weeks. Way to go Smith Superstars!!!!!!!!!!!  Remember to read those A.R. books and take those tests.  Each child will have a specific point goal and average located on each A.R. TOPS report that comes home.  Each student must meet his or her point goal AND get an 85% average in order to participate in the six weeks reward party!  Good Luck.

 "Outstanding March Behavior "

Good Luck!

At the end of each month all students who demonstrated excellent behavior will be posted here.  The students who did not turn a card will get to eat lunch in the room with Mrs. Smith and a reward will be waiting on you that day!

    Scholar Dollars are exciting

We earn them every day

Shopping is our treat

For working very hard

It's an awesome way for me

To be a Super Star!

Parents:  Encouragement each day provides success and rewards your child!  Our classroom scholar dollars encourage positive behavior as well as success.  The scholar money can be spent in our scholar store every two weeks.  Each day you can check your child's behavior calendar.  If  they have a green or orange card they will earn 5 scholar dollars.  Also, scholar dollars can be earned throughout the day by demonstrating excellent behavior.  Please check each day and encourage your child to do their best!
