Accelerated math is an AWESOME opportunity for you student to achieve more and get ahead in MATH! The folder and scan cards are individualized and may be completed at home. Here's how????????????
Return your completed blue AM folder to Mrs. Warrington. She will scan your card and assign you math objectives. You can work as fast and as hard as you can! We want your answers to be correct, so make sure mom or dad checks your bubbles before Mrs. Computer scans your card. She makes mistakes, so check your work. As you work, you can earn bananas...so remember, let's don't "Monkey" around in Math. Let's reach our class goal of 100 and all get the treats!
Each level also has a treat:
25 passed objectives: bring a stuffed animal to school and sit with it all day
50 passed objectives: eat in the classroom with a friend
75 passed objectives: Cool math pencil and math supplies
100 passed objectives: treat box item
127: completed all second grade objectives: No Math Homework for a WEEK! This does not include reading log!!!!!!
ADDITIONAL LEVELS AND TREATS WILL BE DETERMINED BY STUDENTS AND TEACHER.
Also, at the end of each six weeks, the second grade will have an extra recess reward time for those students who have completed the objectives for that six weeks. The students should have completed 25 objectives or more by the end of the first six weeks to receive this extra play time reward in addition to the level rewards! Enjoy your math...I know you will welcome the CHALLENGE!
