Dear Families,

Thanks to each and everyone of you for everything you have done for me and my students this year. I can not believe we have arrived at our last month of school. I am so proud of all that the students have achieved. The students progress couldn't have been possible without your supporting me in all that I have ask of you this year. I really believe that when parents and teachers work together, we can make a difference. We all want the children to experience success in school. Don't forget to read to your child and let your child read to you. During the summer months review the skills we have learned, so your child won't forget them. The children have learned to read, write in journals using complete sentences, count to 100 by ones, tens, and fives, to measure, and can do simple adding and subtracting. These skills will be very important in first grade. You can get practice books to work on to help your child retain these skills at Walmart, Target, Parent Teacher Store at Rivergate and School Sales in Gallatin. Parents, you have been "WONDERFUL" to work with this year. To my dear boys and girls, I will see some of you around JAE next year, but some of you will be going to the new school, SCE, which I will miss seeing you very much. I hope you all have a safe and great summer.

                                          Sincerely,

                                          Mrs. Pam Holman
