Dear Families,

    It is so hard to believe that our school year  is coming to an end.  I hope our last month together is a memorable one for the students with Field Day, Beach Day, and Farmer Day coming up.  I am proud of the students and all they have learned this year.  Every student is able to read, all can write in complete sentences in their journals, and all of them are able to do simple adding and subtracting problems.  I think they have come a long way socially as well-learning how to how make friends, how to cooperate with their peers, and how to follow school rules. I appreciate all your friendliness, support, and cooperation this year.  Those who are leaving to Station Camp Elementary, you will be missed.  Have a great summer, everyone!

     Our Farm unit continues May 5-9th.  We are reviewing vowels.  Our focus book in the reading series is Old Mac Donald Had A Woodshop.

   The last two weeks of school, May 12-May 21, we will study the ocean.  Our reading series book is Building Beavers.
