A note from Mrs. Freebern

*Thanks to our special visitors last Thursday for coming to the Mother's Day Tea.  The children really enjoyed sharing that special time with you!

*STUDY ISLAND, STUDY ISLAND, STUDY ISLAND!!

I would love for you to send me a quick e-mail so I have your address! Please note my new e-mail address.

This website will serve as my weekly "newsletter."  I update it weekly with classroom happenings and other important information.  If you ever need to get in touch with me, e-mail is the quickest way.  I will TRY to check it twice a day, once before school (about 8:00) and once during my planning time (after lunch).

**Check out our classroom wish list often!

*If your child is absent, PLEASE notify the office by 10:00 a.m. to request work. It helps them not feel so “bogged down” when they return.

Weekly Assignments/Schedule

**Please be sure to check your child's homework and sign their planner each night.   Please remind them that homework is THEIR responsibility and they need to come to you to have it checked and signed.  "Be Ready Notebooks" will come home with your child nightly.  Please expect to see this as it will serve as a vital part of their homework organization.  Independence is something we work at in third grade!  Please help foster this life skill at home!

Related Arts Schedule:

Day 1 - Music

Day 2 - Library

Day 3 - Art

Day 4 - P. E.

Day 5 - Music

*Spelling lists are sent home on Monday, tests are on Friday. I expect the students to keep their lists in their "Be Ready Notebook" for use in class. There will be some spelling homework during the week.  ALL homework is due the next day, unless otherwise noted.
