Nikki's Cardboard Robot
In December, Nikki read the Reading Milestones Green Book 6 story about "Cardboard Robots" made of boxes and tin foil. Her project was to make her own robot and to imagine what her robot would do for her. She wanted her robot to clean her room and pick up clothes and toys from the floor. She also wanted it to run the vacuum for her. She would also like it to wash dishes and do her chores. Her robot would wash her clothes and dry her clothes. It would also fold her clothes and hang them up.
Her robot would also help her mom around the house. It would wash the windows, dust the table, and put the dishes away. It would cook food for them, especially hamburgers. It would pour lemonade in glasses and hot chocolate in cups. It would hang up her mom's clothes, too.
Nikki would love a real robot!
Her robot is now on display in the library with books about robots, such as:
