                               Please remember to continue reading with your child each night. I have several students who have stopped returning their AR books. 

                    Also, please check your child's calendar every night. As we get close to the end the year we have several special activities planned.

What Are We Learning This Week?  

Reading: We will be taking our Unit 5 skills test.

Math: This week in math we will learn to write numbers 100-103, addition facts: four of the last eight facts, identify geometric solids, and adding three single digit numbers.

Spelling: Our Spelling test for this week will be to write our address, birthday, and phone number.

Accelerated Reader

        All students have now started the Accelerated Reading program. Please make sure that your child has read the book several times before returning it to school for the test. Also, please let me know if your child's book is too difficult. 

        Each child that reads and passes(80%)  7 books (chapter books will count twice) in the month of April will get to have lunch outside at the picnic tables with me.

                                                      Homework:

Students will have vocabulary and spelling words to study each night.  On Tuesday and Thursday nights we will have Saxon Math homework. Also, the children will be bringing home their Reading books on Wednesday to read the story for that week.
